- Predicted total: 215-220
Utah enters as 5.5-point favorites on the road. I totally get that, as they’ve largely been on fire lately. The Jazz are a pretty good defensive team, and they’re 9-1 over their last 10 games.
The problem? They’re not quite as dominant on the road, and we got a clear picture of that when they lost to the Nuggets in Denver.
That said, they sure can shoot it.
On Tuesday, the Utah Jazz finished with 16 3-pt FG in a win vs the Pistons.

These sides together make the Over stand out, while the Hawks ATS is also very appealing.
Trae Young and the Hawks aren’t a world-beater, but they’ve been better on the defensive end this year. They match up fairly well with Utah and could be a sneaky play here against the spread.
Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks Predictions
- Mavericks to beat Warriors
- Predicted total: 225-230
The Warriors are severely banged up down low these days. Head coach Steve Kerr was left wondering who the team could turn to, as big men James Wiseman and Kevon Looney will be out for the foreseeable future.
The Warriors can always shock you if Stephen Curry feels like showing up, but Dallas badly needs a win. Chances are they get one in a winnable spot at home.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Philadelphia 76ers Predictions
The Blazers are struggling with their health these days, so they’ll be understandable underdogs against the 76ers.
Portland can bring the offense, of course, and bettors always have to take into account that Damian Lillard could sound off.
He’s been pretty special this year.

Joel Embiid has been a monster this year, however. That and Philly has been virtually unstoppable (10-1) on their home floor.
I’d target the Over with confidence, but I doubt Philly loses this one.
Houston Rockets vs. Memphis Grizzlies Predictions
It’s reasonable to expect John Wall to make his return on Thursday, after resting on Wednesday.
With him likely back, the Rockets feel like solid bets to take out the younger Grizzlies.
Houston has quietly been very good ever since trading away James Harden.
Like, really good.
Memphis has been on their own tear but finally saw their six-game winning streak snapped. A bit of a losing streak could be coming their way here.
Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Lakers Predictions
The last game of the night could be the most hotly contested. The Lakers host the Nuggets in a rematch of last year’s Western Conference Finals.
They will undoubtedly be motivated, while L.A. has looked a bit more human as of late.
With the ever-present possibility of the Lake Show resting one of their superstars, Denver stands out as a very interesting value bet – if only to beat the spread.

Atlanta is a fun home dog. They can fill it up offensively, and their defense is still underrated. Utah isn’t at home, either, so everything has me digging the Hawks against the spread.
Houston is also going overlooked as a mild road dog. John Wall should be back, and they’re simply the more talented team compared to Memphis.

The Lakers are a middling 11-11 against the spread this year, and Denver should be highly motivated in this spot. You can go for the full upset picks with Atlanta and the Nuggets, but I like the ATS value tonight.
